Recognizing the town's global allure as the yoga capital and observing the influx of international students and yoga enthusiasts, Shyam, along with his supportive wife Mrs. Ishwari Dulal, envisioned a bakery café that would resonate with both the town's spiritual ethos and its cosmopolitan populace. Thus, in December 2011, the doors of the Babylon Restaurant at Pumpernickel German Bakery opened, an establishment celebrating diverse palates.
